A.J. Weisgerber and
Marc Woodard II each earned top-five finishes to lead Delaware Valley University men's track and field at the Muhlenberg College Invitational. Team scoring was not held at the event.

In total, the Aggies earned four top-10 finishes and five top-20 finishes on the day.

Woodard, a sophomore, took fifth place out of 35 runners in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 11.55 seconds. Teammate
John Jones also competed in the event and crossed the finish line at 11.76 seconds for ninth place. Woodard later competed in the men's 200-meter dash and placed 20
th out of 33 runners with a time of 23.98 seconds. Fellow Aggie
Jake Ryan clocked in four places back with a time of 24.29 seconds.

Weisgerber, a freshman, brought home the second top-five finish for the team with an impressive showing in the men's discus. He competed against 42 athletes and placed fifth with a throw of 139 feet, 2 inches. Weisgerber also competed in the men's shot put and brought home the 18
th spot with a toss of 34 feet, 7 inches.

Also competing in the men's shot put and finishing just ahead of Weisgerber,was junior
James Buggs. Buggs finished 14
th out of 32 competitors as his toss measured 36 feet, 9.75 inches. Buggs notched his top-10 finish with an eighth-place showing in the discus where it measured 135 feet, 11 inches.

Sophomore
Mike Tkach also competed in the shot put and finished 21
st with a toss of 33 feet, 3.25 inches.

The Aggies will be back in action next Saturday, April 8 when they head to The College of New Jersey Invitational.
