The Delaware Valley University men's indoor track and field team returns 14 letterwinners from a season ago and welcomes seven underclassmen as it looks to improve on last year's eighth-place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.
Head coach
Felix Moreno is excited for the mix of young talent and veteran leadership on this year's roster.
"We are much stronger than we were a year ago. I'm very excited about the freshmen we have and the commitment they are making to the sport and how successful they want to be," Moreno said. "I am also very excited about the leadership we have with our upper-classmen and I'm looking forward to seeing them compete."
Returning indoor national runner-up and three-time outdoor All-American
Ta'riq Thomas is back to lead the Aggies for his final campaign and one shot at an indoor national championship. The senior captured a pair of runner-up finishes at the 2017 MAC Championship in the long jump and the triple jump to earn first-team all-conference accolades. He qualified for the NCAA Championships in the triple jump where he posted his best mark of the year with a leap of 48 feet, 1.75 inches to earn a second-place finish and All-America accolades
Fellow senior

th-place finish (7.32 seconds) from a season ago.
Sophomore
Jake Ryan impressed in his rookie season as he qualified in both the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash as well as the long jump. Ryan qualified thanks to times of 7.36 and 23.59 seconds respectively. In the long jump, his best mark of the year was 6.04 meters.
Junior Amir Johnson joined Ryan in the 200-meter dash at the MAC Championships as he qualified with a regular-season time of 22.97 seconds, the fourth-best mark among MAC qualifiers. Johnson just missed out on earning team points last year with a ninth place finish.
The quad of Thomas, Jones, Ryan and Johnson make up the DelVal 4x200 and 4x400 relay team's that Moreno has high hopes for. They qualified for the MAC Championships in both events last season and earned fourth in the 4x200.
The DelVal throwers are headed by senior

Jacob Hart,
Kris Kline,
Zach Loomis and

DelVal's season will be bookend by competitions at Lehigh University beginning this Friday, December 1 at the Season Opener and concluding with the MAC Championships on February 23.
