Aggie Track & Field Competes At Swat Final Qualifying Meet

SWARTHMORE (PA) – Members of the Delaware Valley University men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Swat Final Qualifying Meet at Swarthmore College on Monday.

There was no team scoring at the event.

Sophomore Ta'riq Thomas came in fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 45' 5.75". He also had a sixth place in the long jump (22-4.5).

Freshman Taylor Dziedzic was the lone female participant and she threw the javelin 104' 1" for sixth place.

Freshman Jake McLean ran the 100 and 200 meter dashes, finishing 21^st (11.79) and 27^th (24.07) respectively.

Senior Sam Cullen took 12^th (88-11) in the javelin and 27^th (13.54) in the 100 meters.

Thomas has qualified for the long jump and triple jump at the ECAC Championships and will compete on Wednesday and Thursday, May 18-19.
