GETTYSBURG (PA) – In the final tune-up prior to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships, the Delaware Valley University men's cross country team placed 23
rd out of 26 teams at the 28
th annual Gettysburg College Invitational.
DelVal, which was without its top placewinner all year in
Zach Loomis, had a five-man team score of 684 which topped one team it will see next week in Arcadia University as well as two non-MAC schools. Salisbury University won the invitational with 51 points.
Sophomore
Jacob Hart was the top Aggie finisher on Saturday as he ran the 8K course in 30 minutes, 57.1 seconds, which placed him 187
th out of 267 runners. Freshman
Colton Titus was exactly two seconds and one spot behind.
Sophomore
Mitchell Stage finished 205
th with a time of 31 minutes, 39.1 seconds. Junior
Kris Kline (31:57.9) and freshman
Kevin Naviloff (33:40.7) placed 216
th and 238
th respectively. The individual champion was Ben Taber from the host school thanks to a time of 25 minutes, 37.6 seconds.
The MAC Championships will take place at Messiah College on Saturday, October 29.
