The first Delaware Valley University player in more than 30 years to take the field in an NFL preseason game,
Rasheed Bailey made quite a showing for his hometown Philadelphia Eagles in the team's 36-10 home victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Bailey finished with two catches for 23 yards, including a highlight-reel, one-handed catch for 18 yards on the final play of the third quarter. His first grab was a five-yard reception close to the two-minute warning in the first half and the drive eventually ended with a field goal.

Bailey, who grew up an Eagles' fan, had a five-minute feature story on the NBC10's pre-game show. The feature was followed with a Skype showing of the DelVal football team gathered in the auditorium of the Life Sciences Building as they were set to watch their former teammate in NFL action.

After the game, Eagles' head coach Chip Kelly was asked by a local reporter about Bailey and he praised his performance both in the game and in training camp.
