DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley University sophomore Ta'riq Thomas was selected the Middle Atlantic Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
 
Thomas received the first honor of the indoor campaign after winning both the long jump and triple jump at the Bow Tie Classic hosted by Ursinus College. He recorded a distance of 22' 11.75" in the long jump, which is first in all of Division III. Thomas' leap of 44' 2.75" in the triple jump is tied for 10^th in the nation.
 
The Aggies' next meet is the Angry Birds Invitational at Lehigh University on Saturday, January 16 (10:00 a.m.).
