The Delaware Valley University women's track & field team will have a lot of new faces in 2015-16 as six returners will be joined by 13 first-year student-athletes.
Samantha King is the lone senior on the squad. Last year, she threw the shot put a season-best 33' 9.5" for seventh place at the Widener Field Meet. In the shot put, King placed fifth (33' 1") at the Frank Colden Invitational, eighth (33' 2") at the Bow Tie Classic and 10th (33' 3.75") at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Championships.
Sophomores Kat Pryzbylowski and
Meghan Trenholm were all-conference honorees last year. Pryzbylowski earned second team all-MAC honors with a pair of sixth place finishes in the high jump (4' 11.75") and as a member of the 4x400 meter relay (4:36.09) at the MAC Championships. She won the high jump (4' 11") at the Albright College Invitational and had two other top-five finishes in the high jump.
Trenholm earned second team all-MAC honors as a member of the 4x400 meter relay that finished sixth (4:36.09) at the MAC Championships. She came in second (4' 9") in the high jump, fifth (13' 10.5") in the long jump and sixth (season best 10.25) in the 55 meter hurdles at the Albright College Invitational. Trenholm also took third in the high jump at both the Frank Colden Invitational (season best 4' 11.75") and Widener Field Meet (4' 6").
Juniors
Sara Chamberlain and
Anastasia Zajchowski are back for their third campaign. Chamberlain was a member of the 4x800 meter (11:55.18) and distance medley (15:19.66) relays that finished eighth at the MAC Championships. She ran the 3000 meters in 12:13.34 at the Roadrunner Tune-Up.

The final returner is sophomore
Juanita Ezemba. She ran a top time of 9.72 seconds in the 55 meters at the Albright College Invitational. Ezemba also posted a season-best time of 34.91 seconds in the 200 meters at the Frank Colden Invitational.
The Aggies begin the season on Saturday, December 5 at the Bow Tie Classic hosted by Ursinus College (9:30 a.m.).
