Box Score HARRISBURG (PA) – Penn State Harrisburg picked up both of its goals in the second half, en route to a 2-0 triumph over visiting Delaware Valley College on Saturday afternoon.
The loss snapped a three-game winning streak and shutout streak for the Aggies as they fell to 3-2. The Lions saw their record improve to 2-3.
It was a close match throughout as the teams battled through 75 minutes of scoreless soccer. It wasn't until the 77-minute mark that Penn State got on the board with the only score they would need. Babajide Obusola was able to net his third goal of the season off a quick pass in front from Justin Henderson.
Less than eight minutes later, the Lion's Jon Willingham got loose on a breakaway and was able to make a move around the keeper for the second goal.
Delaware Valley was outshot, 14-8, in the contest.
Chase Clement played all 90 minutes in net and recorded six saves. Deven Gerhart had five saves for the shutout.
