This week, the turf arrived and is being laid down as Delaware Valley College converts Robert A. Lipinski Field at James Work Memorial Stadium to a multi-sport playing surface. This is all possible thanks to a seven-figure donation from Lipinski, a 1980 graduate and Board of Trustees member.


The new turf field will be ready to go this fall and will be used for football, field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer and intramurals. It will also be the home for the new DelVal men's and women's lacrosse teams when they begin their first season of intercollegiate play in 2014-15.
