DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Homecoming and Family Weekend provides the setting for Delaware Valley College as the four-time defending Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) champions host Albright College on Saturday, September 29. Kickoff at Robert A. Lipinski Field at James Work Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

The Aggies have bounced back from an 0-2 start (0-1 MAC) by downing conference foes Stevenson University (34-10) and FDU-Florham (63-3) over the last two weeks. The win over FDU-Florham last Saturday was a dominating performance as the offense scored on all six of its possessions in the first half and the unit ended the game with 623 total yards (380 rushing, 243 passing). Fifteen different players notched at least five yards on the afternoon with eight players finding the end zone.

The big showing upped the offense's season averages to 31 points and 455 yards (213.8 rushing, 241.2 passing) per contest. Leading the way is sophomore quarterback Aaron Wilmer (Philadelphia, PA/George Washington), who was named to the MAC Honor Roll for the second straight week.
Wilmer played just the first half and one possession into the third quarter, yet completed 17 of 19 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for a score. He set a Delaware Valley single-game record for completion percentage (89.5%) and also moved into sixth place on the school's all-time passing yard list (3,687).

Wilmer, a Beyond Sports College Network (BSN) preseason All-American, has completed 80 of 133 passes this season for 958 yards and six touchdowns. He has also rushed for 141 yards and a pair of scores.

Junior tailback Kyle Schuberth (Darby, PA/Monsignor Bonner) had a strong showing against FDU-Florham and moved up the Aggie all-time charts as well. He carried the ball 13 times for 115 yards and two trips to the end zone. The scores upped his career total to 21 and put him into sole possession of seventh place. Schuberth also cracked the top 10 in yardage (1,722) and he is just 37 yards shy of eighth place. For the year, Schuberth has 336 yards and six touchdowns on 66 carries and 103 yards and one score on 16 catches.

Freshman tailback Alquann Jones (Millville, NJ/Millville) just missed the century mark against FDU-Florham as he finished the day with 99 yards on six attempts. One of the carries was an 82-yard touchdown scamper, the fourth-longest run from scrimmage in school history. Jones has 27 carries for 196 yards and the one score for the season.

Chris Ruiz (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) and Lewis Vincent (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) lead the receiving group. Ruiz, a senior, has 26 catches for 309 yards and three trips to the end zone. He hauled in seven passes for 90 yards and one touchdown last week. Vincent, a junior, made two grabs for 55 yards against FDU-Florham, including a 41-yard touchdown. It was 11th touchdown catch of Vincent's career, moving him into a tie for 10th place on Delaware Valley's all-time list. This season, Vincent has 11 receptions for 192 yards and two scores.
