DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The entire Delaware Valley College community is deeply saddened by the news of the loss of
Amadeus Hall, who died suddenly on Friday. Amadeus, 23, was a senior criminal justice major from Camden, N.J.
Hall will be remembered as an active involved student and a competitive football player who contributed to three conference championships and three trips to the NCAA playoffs.
“Amadeus was a good kid with a great personality,” Delaware Valley College head coach Jim Clements said. “He was very well-liked by his peers and his coaches and was part of some great success here at Delaware Valley College.
“He was always down at the stadium, even after the season, with the players and the coaches and trying to get everybody to smile and laugh. That was his personality and that's why we are all saddened by the loss.”
Hall transferred to Delaware Valley prior to the 2009-10 academic year. The nose tackle racked up 76 tackles and five sacks in his three years of eligibility with the Aggies, including 34 stops during his senior campaign. He was part of a 2011 defense helped Delaware Valley go undefeated in the regular season for just the third time in school history.
The campus community's thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. The college's counseling office is available for anyone who might need assistance; please contact Karen Kay at 215-489-2309 or Karen.Kay@delval.edu
