2010 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY SEASON PREVIEW

Delaware Valley College has placed either fourth or fifth at the last three Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships and, with the event taking place on its campus this year, head Ed Andrewlevich and his Aggie women's squad will look to top those showings in '10.

Caitlin Dorgan (Red Bank, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) heads a veteran cast and will look to cap her memorable collegiate career by not only winning the MAC and Mid-East Regional titles, but also make a return trip to the NCAA Championships and come home an All-American.

Last season, Dorgan was the MAC runner-up with a time of 23 minutes, 42.62 seconds and the champion has since graduated. She went on to take fourth out of 311 runners at the regionals (21:52.10) and became the first woman in Aggie cross country history to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Dorgan then placed 62nd out of 279 competitors with a time of 23 minutes, 14.9 seconds.

Tracey Forsythe (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport) is also back after earning all-MAC second-team honors as a freshman last season. She placed 15th at the event with a time of 25 minutes, 47.03 seconds.

Fellow sophomore Alisha Jordan (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) also competed at the 2009 conference championships and her time of 27 minutes, 19.03 seconds was good enough for 48th place.

Senior Meghan Tyman (Holliston, MA/Norfolk) and sophomores Kimmy Haines (Easton, PA/Easton) and Kathy LeHew (Kingsville, MD/Perry Hall) are back after running in the regular season for Delaware Valley.
