LANCASTER (PA) – Delaware Valley College began its 2010 season by dropping a 3-1, non-conference match at Lancaster Bible College. Set scores were 25-14, 23-25, 26-24 and 25-16 in favor of the Chargers.

Junior Kaitlyn Olsen paced the Aggies with 10 kills and four blocks while freshman Destinee Horning added eight kills, 10 digs and two blocks. Freshman Alyssa Riggins led the defensive effort with 19 digs while senior Amy Scordato dished out 20 assists.

Jenae Almas and Lauren Heliger had 13 and 12 kills respectively for Lancaster Bible. Almas also dished out 20 assists while Hailee Growden had nine kills, 18 assists, 12 digs and five blocks.
