AGGIES TAKE 15TH AT LEBANON VALLEY TOURNAMENT

LEBANON (PA) – Delaware Valley College placed 15th out of 20 teams at the Lebanon Valley College Spring Tournament held at the Lebanon Country Club (par 72) on a picture-perfect Monday afternoon.

The Aggies racked up a four-man team score of 351. Albright College took home the team title with a 318 followed by Cabrini College (321) and Messiah College (323).

Individually, Jeff Smith finished tied for 20th out of 103 golfers with a 10-over-par 82. John Selser was tied 46th with an 87 while David Mosher and Doug Schrader capped the Aggie scorers with rounds of 89 (tied for 58th) and 93 (tied for 81st) respectively. Jesse Riddington also competed for Delaware Valley and shot a 103 to tied for 96th place.

Elizabethtown’s Nick Iacono had the day’s top effort with a two-over-par 74 to edge Cabrini’s Mike Ryan (75).

Dorgan, a NCAA qualifier year ago, successfully defended her Delaware Valley Invitational crown as she blew away the 195-runner field with a 6K time of 23 minutes, 26.96 seconds. It was nearly 31 seconds faster than the runner-up.
