ELVERSON (PA) – The Delaware Valley College golf team finished tied for 11th out of 13 teams at the Ursinus College Invitational held at the Stonewall Golf Course (par 70).
The Aggies had a four-man team score of 360 to tie Lebanon Valley College for the 11th position. Franklin & Marshall College won the event as its total of 301 was 11 strokes better than runner-up Dickinson College.
Individually for Delaware Valley,
John Selser placed in a tie for 11th in the 68-man field with a nine-over-par 79.
Jeff Smith followed with a round of 90 to place 52nd while
Doug Schrader (tied 55th – 92) and David Mosher (60th – 99) rounded out the Aggie scorers.
Franklin & Marshall's Andrew Woods had the low score of the afternoon as he finished with a two-over-par 72.
