NOTHAMPTON (MA) -- Delaware Valley College track and field standouts Meghan Donovan, Caitlin Dorgan and Travis Pitts placed in the top 10 in their respective events at the 2010 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Indoor Championships.

All three qualified for the event with their efforts during the regular season and/or at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships. 

Donovan, a sophomore who was a NCAA Division III national qualifier in the outdoor high jump last season, finished in second place out of 25 competitors on Saturday as she cleared the bar at 5 feet, 4.25 inches.

Dorgan, a junior and NCAA qualifier in cross country this past fall, competed in the 5,000-meter run and her time of 18 minutes, 2.57 seconds placed her ninth out of 18 runners.

Pitts was coming off a 55-meter dash championship at the MACs. He qualified for the ECAC finals by placing eighth out of 25 in the preliminaries. In the finals, he crossed the finish line sixth with a time of 6.57 seconds.
