DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College remained in the fifth position in the latest Brute-Adidas/National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III rankings while four Aggies are also ranked in their respective weight classes.

Junior Jesse Harrington (New Providence, NJ/Bound Brook) still holds the top spot at 157 pounds while senior heavyweight Kyle Bilquist (Toms River, NJ/Toms River South) and senior 184-pounder Martin Porter (Long Branch, NJ/Long Branch) are second and 10th respectively for the second straight poll. Freshman Emmanuel Ajagbe (Bogota, NJ/Bogota) is in the rankings for the first time as the rookie is eighth in the 149-pound weight class.

The Aggies are 8-2 in dual meets this season with their only losses coming to No. 2 Wartburg College (IA) and No. 3 Coe College (IA). Augsburg College (MN) tops the team rankings while Ithaca College (NY) is fourth.

Harrington, a 2008 national qualifier who missed all of last season with an injury, boasts a 17-3 record with two pins this year. He captured the Sunshine Open and placed second at the Centenary College Cyclone Open earlier in the season.

A three-time national qualifier and two-time All-American, Bilquist has won 19 of 22 matches, including four pins. He claimed individual crowns at the Cyclone Open, the Long Island Open and the Messiah College Open and was the runner-up at the East Stroudsburg University Open.

Porter is second on the team in wins with 23 (23-6) and he also has four pins to his credit. He took top honors at the Messiah Open, placed second at the Cyclone Open and was third at the Sunshine Open.

Ajagbe holds a 21-6 record, including individual titles at both the Long Island Open and the Messiah Open.

Delaware Valley returns to action on Friday, January 29 when it travels to 15th-ranked Cortland State University (NY).
