Men's Cross Country

AGGIE WOMEN TAKE 10TH, MEN 26TH AT DICKINSON INVITATIONAL

CARLISLE (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Dickinson College Long/Short Invitational. The Aggie women placed 10th out of 29 teams while the men were 26th out of 30 squads.

The invitational features a 4K and 6K run for the women and a 4K and 8K for the men. They take the scores from both runs to determine the team standings. Both of Dickinson's teams won its event as the men had 44 points and the women notched 79.

For Delaware Valley, Caitlin Dorgan placed fifth out of 173 runners in the 4K race with a time of 14 minutes, 54 seconds. Alisha Jordan was the top Aggie finisher in the 6K as her time of 25 minutes, 31.3 seconds was good enough for 42nd out of 121 competitors.

On the men's side, Chip Brumbaugh took 55th out of 171 runners in the 4K race with a time of 13 minutes, 32.1 seconds. Kevin McCoy was a place behind with a time of 13 minutes, 32.5 seconds.
