CLEVELAND (OH) -- Delaware Valley College junior Caitlin Dorgan capped a season to remember by finishing 62nd out of 279 competitors at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College.
Dorgan was the first Aggie women's cross country runner in school history to qualify for the NCAA Championships. She ran the 6K course in a time of 23 minutes, 14.9 seconds to top more than 75 percent of the field. Wendy Pavlus of St. Lawrence University won the individual title with a time of 21 minutes, 28 seconds.
Dorgan's season included first-place finishes at three invitationals during the regular-season followed by a runner-up showing at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships. She then earned her trip to the NCAAs by placing fourth at the Mideast Regionals.
