DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College junior quarterback
Mark Hatty (Philadelphia, PA/Neumann-Goretti) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Aggies' 47-21 victory at King's College on October 31.
It was Hatty's first career start as he got the call in place of the injured
Mike Isgro and made the most of his opportunity. He completed 16 of 22 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns and led Delaware Valley on seven scoring drives in the eight possessions he was on the field for. Hatty and the Aggies finished with 513 yards of total offense in the game.
Delaware Valley is 7-1 overall, 5-0 and tied with Albright College for first place in the MAC. The two teams will meet on the Aggies' home turf on Saturday, November 7 (1:00 p.m.). A Delaware Valley victory will not only give the team at least a share of the MAC title, but also clinch the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III playoffs.
