DELVAL MEN PLACE 31ST AT MIDEAST REGIONALS

BETHLEHEM (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men’s cross country team wrapped up its 2009 campaign by placing 31st out of 45 squads at the NCAA Mideast Regionals held at Lehigh University.
Senior Chip Brumbaugh was the top Aggie individual finisher as he placed 94th out of 314 runners with an 8K time of 27 minutes, 16.5 seconds. Fellow senior Kevin McCoy was 156th with a time of 28 minutes, 13.4 seconds while freshman Thomas Porter was clocked at 28 minutes, 28.4 seconds and placed 166th.
Allegheny College won the team title with 59 points. Carnegie-Mellon University (69 points) and Haverford College (83 points) rounded out the top three.
