COLLEGEVILLE (PA) – Ursinus College won the first two sets and finished with a 3-1 triumph over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference match. Scores were 26-24, 25-17, 24-26 and 25-17. 

Mary Kate Wilmoth paced the Bears (7-11) with 20 kills and also added 17 digs. Kristin Hanratty notched 11 kills and eight digs while Elizabeth Roth handed out 47 assists in the win. 

The Aggies (13-7) were led by sophomore Amy Estep’s career-high 14 kills. She also had 18 digs and two blocks on the evening. Danielle Ford and Kaitlyn Olsen followed with six kills apiece with Olsen also adding four blocks. Ashley Mikulksy and Emily Robillard led the defensive effort with 23 digs apiece while Jaki Blood and Amy Scordato combined for 27 assists.

Dorgan, a NCAA qualifier year ago, successfully defended her Delaware Valley Invitational crown as she blew away the 195-runner field with a 6K time of 23 minutes, 26.96 seconds. It was nearly 31 seconds faster than the runner-up.
