GOUCHER SPOILS SENIOR DAY WITH 3-0 VICTORY OVER DELVAL

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Goucher College guaranteed itself of a winning record with a 3-0 victory over host Delaware Valley College. Set scores were 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.

It was Senior Day for Delaware Valley (15-10) as it honored four-year players Jaki Blood and Danielle Ford. Blood finished the match with three kills, nine assists and nine digs while Ford added one kill and one block.

Amy Estep and Kaitlyn Olsen paced the Aggies with five kills apiece with both players also adding six digs apiece. Kelsey Fisher and Ashley Mikulsky finished with 15 digs each while Amy Scordato dished out seven assists.

The Gophers (15-11) were led by Megan Smith’s 12 kills. Kasey Quinn added eight kills and nine digs.

Dorgan, a NCAA qualifier year ago, successfully defended her Delaware Valley Invitational crown as she blew away the 195-runner field with a 6K time of 23 minutes, 26.96 seconds. It was nearly 31 seconds faster than the runner-up.
