DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College head wrestling coach Brandon Totten has announced that former Aggie great and national champion Mike Wilcox and three-time Division III All-American Elliott Spence have joined his coaching staff.

Wilcox, who is finishing up degree in criminal justice, capped an outstanding two year career with Delaware Valley by capturing the 184-pound title at the 2009 NCAA Division III Championships. He was also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament – the first Aggies to ever receive the prestigious honor.

Wilcox compiled a 65-5 record with Delaware Valley after transferring in from Gloucester Community College. He was an All-American and the national runner-up in his first year with the Aggies (2007-08).

Spence graduated from the College of Mount Saint Joseph (Cincinnati, OH) where he was a three-time Midwest Regional champion and a three-time All-American. Spence was the 2008 NCAA runner-up at 149 pounds and finished with a total of 114 wins over his three-year at the college. He was also a two-year team captain as well as a two-time Scholar All-American.

Spence spent last season assisting at Cincinnati Oak Hills High School. The squad had four individual league champions and three state qualifiers. While at Delaware Valley, he will work towards obtaining his MBA with a focus in accounting.

Masterson was named the Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the MAC Championships as he finished first in both the long jump and the javelin, third in the triple jump, fifth in the high jump, sixth in the 100-meter dash and helped the 4x100 relay team take fourth.
