Men's Cross Country

AGGIES COMPETE AT NCAA MIDEAST REGIONALS

BETHLEHEM (PA) - The Delaware Valley College cross country team concluded its 2007 season by competing at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals at Lehigh University. The Aggie women placed 22nd out of 37 teams while the men finished 32nd out of 41 squads.

Brittany Schwartz and Caitlin Dorgan paced the Aggies as they did all season as the two placed in the top 65 out of 267 competitors. Schwartz, a sophomore, finished 60th with a time of 23 minutes, 41 seconds while Dorgan, a freshman, was just a second behind and placed 62nd.

On the men's side, sophomore Chip Brumbaugh finished 103rd out of 282 runners with a time of 27 minutes, 18 seconds. Fellow sophomore Kevin McCoy crossed the finish line 149th with a time of 27 minutes, 56 seconds.

Dickinson College captured the women's team title with 53 points while Haverford College brought home the men's crown with 45 points.
